I went to this post office a few weeks back. I wanted to send a letter via Certified Mail. When I got called to the counter, I told the staff member I wanted to send the letter Certified Mail; I also bought a book of stamps. I followed the staff member's instructions and paid.
Several hours later, after the post office had closed for the day, I happened to check the receipt and noticed that I'd been charged for Priority Mail, which I hadn't requested and did not need, and which cost around double the cost of Certified Mail. I immediately filled out the Customer Service form on the USPS web site to request a refund of the price difference in light of the staff's error.
Some days later, I received an e-mail from a supervisor claiming to have tried to reach me by telephone, though I couldn't confirm this as no voice mail was left. The supervisor stated that the item had already been processed as Priority Mail and thus they would not refund the difference in price, in spite of the fact that I never requested Priority Mail.
The message from the supervisor provided a telephone number and said to call with any questions or concerns; I called the number, but it rang endlessly with no one answering, so eventually I hung up.
I considered giving two stars because at least the staff member who made the error wasn't unfriendly, but in light of the overall experience, and the terrible customer service from the supervisor, one star seems more appropriate.

Called this office 10 times the other day trying to get them to answer because my engagement ring that I was going to propose with couldn’t be delivered to my address and I was gonna try to get them to hold the ring there so I could pick it up in the next few days because I happened to be going out of town the day after the delivery date so I could not go and ask about the ring in person and no one ever answered my call and my ring was being sent back to the seller as I was calling I never received a call back from the postal office so I called a customer service line and they weren’t able to help me by stoping the package or anything

The staff were rude and easily frustrated, not just toward me, but I watched them dismiss a woman who needed help navigating bringing many packages in. General tone was just bad. Not that anyone really pays much attention to reviews on a post office, but would not recommend this one.

Vanessa quickly became frustrated when I politely asked why would it take 5 business days when the website says 1-3 days.
She couldn’t give an answer or even acknowledge my question…
She repeated herself like a dehumanizing robot, instead of speaking to me like a human. I will pick a different location to mail from.
Why are we paying $12 for a 1-3 day delivery advertised but on the backend all the employees think its 5 days?
