- NSNick SOct 3, 20251.0Went in to get a battery claim going on a power tool. They turned me away saying something about the battery being hazardous. Not sure if this is on Home Depot (rigid brand) or fedex but i have a prepaid fedex label and got some very poor service. My favorite part of this very poor experience is when i asked if the ‘other’ locations they sent me to could put the battery in a box and they said…. with a smile…. ‘I do not know.’ Fedex ship centers that cannot ship things is…. not really a ship center is it? If you are in Austin and need to ship a battery DO NOT go to this place or any ‘ship center’ go to one of the incredibly inconvient locations in the attached image.

The employees exhibited all of these traits during my brief time in the shop. This is a great example of the fruits of intentional culture building.
