- JAJason ArmstrongApr 1, 20255.0Stop to visit #324 Arthur City TX Post Office. This is a small brick building post office that was nice and clean on the inside. No sign inside to say when this building was builded. The first Arthur City post office was built in 1886. The town was founded by Capt. J. G. C. Arthur as a stop on the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway. The staff do a great job keep up the good work.
