Why am I receiving overflow notifications telling me I need to pick up my packages at the front desk during business hours when you only place a couple of small packages in the parcel locker, which doesn’t even come close to filling the space? Twice, I called and asked for my packages to be placed in the parcel locker so I could pick them up after business hours—the only time I am available. Twice, I was told by the new USPS employee that my packages would be in the locker. However, both times, the parcel locker contained only a couple of small packages. I have little to no control over ordering more than one item online, when and where the packages will be shipped from, their location during shipping, or arrival times. I hadn’t had an issue for the last couple of years because the previous employee understood this and would hold the packages until the end of the week. When I called, he knew I was coming to pick up my packages. Since that employee—who actually answered the phone more reliably than the new one—is no longer there, this problem has arisen. I’m leaving this comment because nobody is answering the phone, and when I did get through, my issue wasn’t resolved as promised: to place all my packages and fill the parcel locker. I can’t afford to take a cab constantly to pick up one or two small packages at a time, and I have medical issues that prevent me from making multiple trips because you only want to place a few small items piecemeal in the parcel locker instead of filling it with all my packages. Also, some of my orders indicate the packages were left in a parcel locker, but they weren’t. Now that I’ve injured my back by making more trips than necessary to retrieve my packages, you need to send them back to Amazon until the pain lessens and I can reorder, hoping to pick up my packages at a later date. This issue needs to be resolved, as I receive multiple medications and essential items necessary for my survival if I continue to have problems receiving my mail.
