Why continue using it??? And it is Christmas! Excuse: "lots of packages out there..." Answer "yes there are, and it is your business, and function, to get them to recipients. Packages arrive and sit there for a day or 2 before they get Transferred to the Post Office then get delivered to your postal box. I wish the postal service would just go away and let the private sector handle it . What a waste of taxpayer dollars .
