  I had an Amazon package that I was supposed to receive within 2 days but didn’t because it sat at the post office for an additional 4 days before they decided to even attempt to deliver it. Once it said it was delivered I checked high and low but my package was nowhere to be found. I went as far as checking my security cameras and nothing. No package in sight. When I called the post office I was told by the Post Mater (Armando Mata) that it was delivered at 10:52 A.M. When I told him it wasn’t delivered TO MY HOUSE @ 10:52 A.M. He just repeated himself over and over again. “ My computer says it was delivered at 10:52 A.M.” He wasn’t even willing to help solve the situation after repeatedly telling him I didn’t get it. He didn’t even offer to track it down. His unwillingness to assist me was evident, so I ended the call. He was extremely rude, and incompetent. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Typical Alpine- subpar service. Cognitive dissonance is a real doozie for the feeble minded when it comes to our local Post Master. The picture below is why Alpine residence don’t receive their packages on time, even if you’re an Amazon Prime member. Thanks again NOTHING Mr. Mata!

  Mail delivery getting worse by the day. Keep leaving me notes blaming me for the sender address mistakes & that I need to fix it. How can I when I have no control over senders errors!!!. We have mail contract delivery to the way to Terlingua, they have been delivering our mail for 20 years, they know who we are & what box # is ours, just getting lazy? They hold my packages for pick up saying that I requested it. Why would I drive 1 hr each way to the PO in Alpine when their job is to deliver it to my mailbox !!! Also leaving wrong mail in my box & have found some mail on the ground by the mailboxes!!!

  Terrible customer service. They know that I work outside of town. I am working before they open til after they’re closed for the day. I have repeatedly asked them to place packages in a parcel locker because of this. They prefer to hold my stuff hostage instead. They also rarely answer the phone. Disappointing.

  The staff is friendly, but hands down one of the most inefficient agencies. Routinely lose my personal packages, packages for work as well. It’s not uncommon to receive a yellow slip notifying me of a package to pickup, only to get to the counter after a long wait and find out they have no clue where my package is. I’ve experienced on multiple occasions my PO Box packages delivered to my home address and vice versa. Also, my packages regularly show up late, sometimes up to weeks late, or do not show at all. It’s frustrating for me, and the line that often backs up to the door as a result of inefficiency.
