I have a package arrive in Abilene with enough time to be delivered today (the due date is tomorrow). The package was falsely scanned Business closed. I work for a different package company so i know that a package for a residence should not be scanned business closed. I called the 1800 and spoke with a guy. He gave me the address and stated. If i go before 6:30 i can retrieve my package. I go up there around 12:00 today. When i arrive a lady comes and helps me. She asks for the tracking number and when i give her the numbers. I give them to her slowly. 9 numbers shouldn’t have been hard to keep up with but guess what….she couldn’t keep up. She goes to the back. Next thing i know another lady comes out and says it’s due tomorrow and her and her co worker weren’t going to get the package because it was stacked to go out tomorrow. She then said if i came back later when the guys where there then i could get the package. I work and my time is valuable. So i can’t drive across town again to hopefully get a package. She then said that i can call a 1800 number and make a record Absolutely unacceptable experience at this FedEx location.
The employees were dismissive, unhelpful, and showed zero urgency to do their job. I was told the only thing i could do is send an inquiry, and one “manager” actually said they would respond “due tomorrow, not going to get it.” That level of laziness and lack of accountability is ridiculous for a company like FedEx. If you don’t wanna work in this line of work then do not apply.
When I questioned it, instead of resolving the issue, they tried to backtrack and told me not to repeat what was said. That alone shows they knew how unprofessional it was. Saying you didn’t “refuse service” doesn’t change the fact that you made no effort to help.
I then called the FedEx customer service line, and they confirmed the package scan showed it was available for pickup. They said that if i went up there with them on the phone they would talk to them to get me my package.
To make matters worse, neither employee introduced themselves, wore a badge, or provided any identifying information. No accountability at all.
This isn’t just bad customer service, it’s a failure in professionalism and management. If employees at a FedEx location are openly admitting they’re not going to resolve customer issues, that’s a serious problem.
I expect someone from corporate or upper management to review this and address the lack of accountability at this location—because based on other reviews, this clearly isn’t an isolated issue.

Contract drivers are lazy-don’t come down a dirt road. Haven’t seen or heard from them. Been waiting for 9 days

I went into the store to mail contract documents for work and Cameron was absolutely terrible to me. I was attempting to ship items, and she started the interaction by walking away without word and leaving me standing at the counter for several minutes. Upon return, I asked for clarification on why my drivers license was needed, she then made me feel as if I was dumb and should have known that my id was needed. Then Neil, who I later learned was a Manager stepped in and stated that "if the other location is not following policy, he will deal with them", so I asked for his name confused by him stepping in such an authoritative manner and first he refused to even give his name. It is rare to experience such poor customer service for business interactions. I am very disappointed, as all customers deserve to be treated with kindness. I ended up leaving and going to UPS, where they were helpful and kind. I wont go back, which is unfortunate as this location is closest to our office.

This place shows its last express pickup at 6:30 PM on Tuesdays. This seems to be highly inaccurate. The phone number online to check this information shows as the corporate number. There is no convenient way to get from the IVR to an agent at the local store.
Idk which facility services my area but they never leave my packages at my house. I'm always having to refund and reorder with different shipper. And their customer service is a joke. U can't talk to anyone it just automated
