Whoever delivers our mail leaves the mailbox open, or fails to shut it all the way. When it would rain, our mail would be soaked and be a loss. We even left a note once and asked to please close it all the way, nothing changed. We eventually bought a new mailbox and they STILL can't be bothered to make sure it is closed. Recently, mail has been getting delivered to the wrong address or not delivered at all. I followed a piece of mail all the way from Georgia, to this post office, then up to Virginia, then back to this post office, then to me. That piece of mail ended up being a week late. Of course I'll never see a refund even though it was delivered outside of the time frame. A piece of mail was supposed to be delivered, it was marked delivered, but it was not. I checked with my neighbors and no one received it by accident. I checked again and it was marked "delivered" an hour and a half after the the mail had arrived, but was not here. I made a claim with USPS and it arrived 2 days later. I am up to 5 packages that were scanned at this location, then sent away before coming back a week late. Sadly, I doubt anything will change anytime soon. If I have to mail anything, I take it to the Johnson City location.
