  I am posting this review to request corporate attention regarding my experience at the PeopleReady location at 408 Royal Parkway, Nashville, TN. On 2/1/26, I declined a job assignment because the rate of pay did not work for me. After declining , 2-10-26 I was removed from an entire week of work that I had already booked and confirmed. Shortly after that, restrictions were placed on my account, and my local office was changed to a different location without my request or consent. When I asked about the office change, the branch manager, Shannon, told me it was done by the other location. However, when I later spoke directly with Josh at that other location, he stated that they did not make the change. This conflicting information made the situation even more concerning and unclear. In addition, every time I contacted the branch for clarification, Shannon’s attitude on the phone was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I believe these actions were taken in retaliation for declining a job based on pay, which should be a worker’s right. This situation directly affected my ability to work and earn income. Anyone working with or considering working at this location should be aware of the risk of retaliation for declining assignments. I strongly encourage PeopleReady corporate or Employee Relations to review how this branch is being managed.

  I’ve used people ready for over 7 years and it’s been the same horrible experience every time I come back I forgot why I left until I start again ! Go to Hirequest direct instead they pay better and faster , horrible temp service . Horrible service! This is NOT daily pay I just worked a job last week hours instantly approved but it still took 6 days to get paid from the job they sent me to… I also had to pay for parking on that job they paid me late on and they didn’t even pay what they were supposed too I got $21 for 4 hours at a $17 rate! They list jobs after it’s actually supposed to start and penalize you for it . You WILL drive to a job that’s already booked even though they list it and have you show up YOU WILL NOT GET PAID . They will make your situation worse .
