Christie Norton has worked at this location for quite some time and has been nothing but helpful. I've tried calling the Cumberland location, but they're quite busy. Christie was kind enough to help me with everything that the Cumberland location would've helped, should they have answered.
She's very kind, the rest of the staff are courteous and professional, and I would say that the Henry St. post office has the best professional postal workers/mail handlers/letter carriers in East Tennessee.
If you come across Christie, be kind to her. USPS works their workers to the bone and they deserve kindness.

The postman, older gentleman, told me that I cannot ship a package without a QR code. I asked him if I could verbally give him the addresses for the label for him to print when I purchase the shipping, and he said no, that you all have never offered that. I’ve been to countless USPS locations and have always shipped a package by telling the worker the return and receiving addresses. I felt like I was being looked at like I was clueless- not a good experience. Apparently we aren’t allowed to hand write return addresses on labels that have been printed either? I’ve never been like “wow that post office was bad,” but yeah, this post office was bad.

I love the charm of this old post office and personally prefer this branch over any other post office in the area. Their hours are fine.
