- LWLaura W.Mar 10, 20185.0I have had a PO Box at this post office since August 1989. The original postal employee was an unfriendly, older man. He was there for quite a while before he was replaced with some younger, friendlier female employees. This post office is available to the public, just as any other is. It offers full retail services & is conveniently located near the entrance of Milligan College, just off of Milligan Hwy. PO Box rentals are way cheaper than the other locations. On a personal note... in late summer 2016, I had visited CA after the death of my grandmother. I needed to mail back several (9-12+) medium-sized boxes. They all were addressed to one Milligan PO Box , & the return address was a different Milligan PO Box. I was only planning on them being there for a week, but my travel plans became majorly delayed. I never thought to call to let them know, until about a month later. The employee was very sweet & accommodating. She was gracious & said she would continue to hold them & my mail, for which I never put a vacation hold on. When I came to get them a week or two later, she was still friendly & helpful. On the other hand, my other local post office that serves my home address is one of those nightmare post offices. In contrast, they quickly rushed to judgment in deciding I must have moved (even though my home showed otherwise). They returned all of my mail after a short bit, even though my home mailbox could never have gotten full (big mailbox, less mail). It just wasn't getting checked. Needless to say, I highly recommend this Milligan College Post Office.

This US Post Office is open to public use, even though on the campus of Milligan College. Convienent to entrance of college and a few parking spaces. But usually there is always a parking space for parking. Two outdoor mailboxes available WITH AFTERNOON PICK UP ONLY. There is great people working Stamps, boxes, cards, and gift wrapping sold, forms you might need like any other post office might have. I have no complaints and that's saying something.
