Sage in printing services saved the day for me with two printing requests a few days before Christmas. They got me in and out on a custom sizing in store request in half an hour. Really impressed by the knowledge and customer service here.

This specific store needs an entire employee reboot in order to succeed. Unfortunately my experience with them for the last two weeks has been nothing but a series of excuses and poor customer service. 12/8 I placed an order for wrapping paper (5 rolls) and got a notification they’d be ready for pickup next day. I let a week pass and spoke with Paul, the print manager, who told me 240 orders were ahead of me and they were working as fast as possible. Ok fine, no problem and I gave them grace. Another week passes and I call again, I am told will for sure be done this weekend. The weekend comes (now twelve days post order placement) and a young lady named Carla tells me over the phone that she is “uncomfortable” giving me an “estimate” of when my order will be ready. Such strange verbiage for someone in customer service to use. She tells me I can wait for Paul, the print manager, to come out from his break and speak to me. I wait for fifteen minutes and no Paul anywheee. She says “oh he’s taking a longer break actually”. How convenient, a longer break when a displeased customer is at the store! I grab the attention of Jon, the store manager and ONLY helpful individual with a pulse in that store, who tells me that they are super backed up and the printer has been acting funny. He says they sent print jobs to sevierville and oak ridge. I say that’s fine but I deserve an answer where I’m at in the queue, no matter how “uncomfortable” someone might feel giving me one. It’s CUSTOMER SERVICE. Jon goes out of his way and tells me my order was routed to oak ridge, thirty minutes away, and I can go pick it up there. The climax of the story is when the oak ridge employee tells me she’s had my order ready for days. So Knoxville staples lied, has a print manager who won’t come face to face with customers, a print associate who feels uncomfortable doing her job, and a general manager who helps keep the ship running. Pathetic. If it weren’t for my incessant questioning and for Jon, I’d have never received my order. I am writing to corporate first thing Monday and I hope they take the time to counsel their employees on how to do their jobs better. Especially the print department.

Im giving 1 star because a guy name damian had a very bad attitude. I had order some prints with the express order online said an email will be sent when ready however I did not receive the email until 8:50 and the store closes at 9:00. Told another guy that I should not have to pay the expenses pay because we didn't receive the email until 8:50. And he said he was sorry it was him that sent it late. He called up a manager. The Damian came up and why does he need a manager and the other explains as to why he needed a manager. Damian said that was my fault I should have been there to pick it up and said he doesn't care i still have to pay for it. As the other guy stood there and was telling Damian it was is fault because he sent the email late. And again Damian still proceeded to tell him I still needed to pay the expenses pay. How ever the other guy didn't make me pay the expenses fee. Wish I knew his name put he was very friendly and understood it was his mistake and took care of it. So the guy Damian does not need to be working there.

I’m not sure why this location has such bad reviews. Every time I’ve needed something right away I’ve been able to go in and have great service with a smile from the employees. Whether it’s ink for my printer because my daughter needs to print something for school tomorrow and we ran out of ink or I’m returning an Amazon return, every one has been great. They have a big selection and we do our back to school shopping here too and they have good coupons on the app.
