I let it slide when the marked "do not bend" trees were folded into my mailbox (which later died). But when I come home to find a large, expensive package resting on the open lid of my mailbox, it makes me mad (see pic). Easily stolen, possibly. Easily knocked into the street, possibly. Take the extra 60 seconds and put it on my porch please and thank you. Update: I came home to find a check, a passport, and artwork in the mailbox rubber banded semi-shut (see pics) during the remnants of a Tropical Depression Barry. Amazingly, the packages are okay, but what in the world?
