  This UPS store wanted over $3 to print a UPS label. I had a return with a prepaid UPS label and not many people have printers these days. I asked if they would print the label for me and they said they would, but would charge me over $3 to print it. First, you’d think it would be a common courtesy to print a label to ship directly with them anyway. Second, if you can beyond that point and were willing to accept a charge to print it which I was willing to pay a small fee, $3 for 1 piece of paper with black and white ink is egregious. For example and for comparison purposes, FedEx Office down the street charges $.23 for one piece of paper with black and white ink. I gave the counter representative my thought on the excessive cost of the printing charge and she said “our printer, our ink, our choice”. Okay my choice is to take my business to a different UPS store or elsewhere and leave this review. Since when did basic customer service go out the window? I immediately called another UPS store in the area and they told me they don’t charge anything to print UPS labels and to email the label to the store and they’ll take care of it. I don’t know why this Mallory ln location wouldn’t do the same.

  This place charges $3.50 to print one half sheet mailing label. They wanted to charge me $8.50 for a shipping box and an additional fee for packing the box with a prewrapped and protected purse. Oh, and the cost to ship the purse, a canteen styled crossbody, was going to be $19. I took my bubble wrapped purse down the walkway to Staples. As I walked to Staples, I purchased my postage online for $8. I printed my shipping label for 33 cents. I offered to buy a mailing box for $1.60 but the sweet salesman said, no need I just unpacked a box that the purse fits in. We can use that for free. I packed the box, he taped the box, and it was ready for shipping! SHAME on the UPS STORE! Those prices were astronomical and OUT OF CONTROL! I treated myself to a Teriyaki bowl with the money I saved!

  Proactive staff who do not allow customers to have to wait around before being served. Not all UPS stores are like this, so it is very appreciated.
