  Do NOT trust this UPS if you need a package delivered on time. They charged me over $95 for an overnight delivery (an envelope with my son’s car title in it) on Saturday morning—GUARANTEED DELIVERY by end of day Monday (today). Well, guess what? It hasn’t even LEFT DICKSON. The only thing that tracking says (confirmed by the national customer service department) is that a label was created!!! When I called at 6 pm tonight all the employee kept repeating to me was that if we shipped on Saturday it wouldn’t even go out until Monday! I asked to speak to the owner or manager and was told they leave at 4 pm. I asked him to message the owner to contact me tonight with some resolution and the owner clearly didn’t care enough to reach out. I don’t even know where the envelope is right now, but I sure want the money refunded and the package found. UPDATE: It gets even worse. Went to UPS store first thing in the morning only to be nonsensically told by the initially rude manager Patty that the store doesn’t do refunds and doesn’t do overnight delivery on Saturday for Monday, and the package (containing my son’s title for his car and the notarized affidavit transferring the title to his name so he could register it now that he’s finished college and started a job in Texas) was delivered. I replied if it was delivered I wouldn’t be here, and I wanted a refund after being told it would be there by end of day Monday since I now had to go renew the registration in Tennessee so he could drive it to register in Texas because the tags expire 4/1/26. She angrily got behind the computer and asked for the tracking number. When she looked it up her tune became falsely conciliatory because the shipping record proved I told the truth—it was supposed to be delivered EOD on Monday. I say falsely because she printed it out and told me to go to ups.com and file a claim because the owner refuses refunds at the store. She then demanded to know who wrongly told me it would be delivered on Monday. I told her the notary handled the entire transaction on Saturday. She then said he would be “dealt with” and started berating the other workers while telling them the name of the employee who would be “dealt with,” all while I was attempting to unsuccessfully file the claim on ups.com. She stated it must be my internet signal so I left. Turns out she was lying about that too!! I called UPS customer service who told me the store had to issue the refund and I was entitled to it. The CS rep had me merge a call to the Dickson store after I told her the manager said they wouldn’t do it. Patty told the CS rep that even though I was entitled to the refund I had to get it through the claims portal and wait 7-10 days. She then hung up on both of us. The CS rep told me to wait for the delivery at EOD today and then file the claim on the portal. Well, guess what??? I did that and UPS online said I have to get the STORE to file the claim (see attached). I sent the screenshot to the store email asking they take care of this by 10 am tomorrow. Somehow I doubt they will, and I’ll be back on the phone with UPS corporate tomorrow. UPDATE 2: The manager has not responded to multiple emails and calls. And now UPS corporate is saying package was delivered on time because the store did not scan it until the 30th—even though the Shipment Tracking and Reference Information form CLEARLY states it was to be delivered on 3/30 by end of day and the shipment date was 3/28 (see attached photo). My advice? USE FEDEX.

  I'm usually hesitant about using anybody but USPS, but UPS has been very good recently. The RF labels they use give you a minute by minute updates, and make it pretty hard to lose a package. Packages travel very fast too, less than 2 days across the country. My local driver is very friendly as well. I wouldn't hesitate to use UPS for any important shipping.

  Don’t use their notary services. Even if you make an appointment on their web site, they won’t show. Then they’ll tell you the notary will be in the next morning and she doesn’t show again. Wasted 2 trips to town. UPS delivery drivers are great, but this office is horrific.
