My prescription medicine was delivered to my mailbox and sat there for two months while I was gone, despite having filled out and gotten charged for a mail forwarding order. I tried to call the Columbia post office and the phone just rang and rang. Finally I got a person, who said they would have the carrier take my medicine out of the mailbox and forward it to me. Never happened.
- TTTimNov 27, 20251.0This is quite possibly the worst post office in the United States of America. It’s hard to know where to start, but let’s start with our postal carrier. I get that she has some issues at home, but if you absolutely hate your job and choose to be hateful to every person you come into contact with, find a new job. Seriously. The level of rudeness and disrespect that we have to put up with in our neighborhood is not okay. People have had scheduled mail holds for vacations and then notes left that their mail was left at the post office instead of being delivered on the return date. They go to the post office and it’s not there, only to learn that she’s been driving around with it in her van for over a week. She also makes up her own rules. If people can’t pick up their items from the parcel boxes, she sends them back, which is against post office guidelines according to a call with the USPS 800#. The people at the post office are not much more useful. The USPS needs to clean house and start over. Am absolutely terrible government service that we are paying for. Show some respect for your customers.
