  Horrible staff. Tried to use the packaging and shipping but the staff way overpacked and overpriced what we ended up getting was a $40 charge to pack a 14x18 poster frame. The attempt was made to charge an additional $200-$600 to ship this package. Took it home repacked the item and shipped it ups for under $20. Now the manager will not allow a return or refund of any kind. Will go out of my way to never use this store ever again, as well as, tell all who will listen about this ridiculous tale. 0 out of 10, will not recommend. To the owner; no need to refer me to your website. Real communication preferred. My review is based on a horrible experience AS WELL AS poor job performance and PRICE GOUGING.

  I was caught off guard by false advertising, so I am relaying my experience in the hopes that others aren't also cheated. As the old adage states, "Forewarned is forearmed!" I had a package after Christmas, and before New Year's, that I wanted to send to a friend. It wasn't an emergency that it get there in 2 days, but it was a VERY EXPENSIVE, very elegant wool coat, and it's January - the perfect time for this gift! I needed it packed well so it would travel SAFELY, and COMPLETELY INSURED, all of which I knew I couldn't accomplish through the US postal service. So I took the coat, and a few other items I had bought to go with it, to the UPS STORE, thinking I would be SENDING my package via UPS. So when my SHIPPING CHARGE, ALONE, was $81.91, NOT including insurance or packing, I was not surprised. The SUPPOSED UPS AGENT advised me that my package would be to its recipient in TEXAS (from here in Sioux Falls) by December 31st, a mere TWO DAYS. I was shocked, and delighted, and gladly paid the $81.91, thinking that UPS was going to be traveling my package to Texas so my friend would get her gift in time for New Year's. When JANUARY 2 came, and the package WASN'T EVEN IN THE UPS SYSTEM, I knew something was wrong, and I had paid $82 I didn't need to spend! Turns out, as you can see from the contract, THE UPS STORE SHIPS FOR USPS!!!! IF I HAD WANTED TO SHIP USPS, I WOULD HAVE GONE TO USPS, AND SPENT A WHOLE LOT LESS FOR THE PRIVILEGE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! Just for perspective, I sent a similar package to Dallas, TX a few days later, ACTUALLY VIA USPS, and it cost me $38.85. The size and weight of the box I MAILED through the US postal service was actually LARGER than the box the UPS Store mailed, but was $45 cheaper. Dumb me, I thought I was shipping UPS, and that it would get there BEFORE New Year's Day. Buyer's BEWARE!!!!! This is NOT A UPS SHIPPER!!!!
