My best friend sends me care packages once a year. She collects and buys things all year long, packs it up, and sends it, usually UPS. This year, she used a different site to print a label because it saved her money. When she went to UPS, the new guy said he couldn't ship it due to that label, though previously, they would just charge her 3 dollars. So she goes to USPS. The package shows delivery date is March 5th. I have Informed Delivery. On March 3rd, 6:02am, package on the truck for delivery. At 2pm, postman delivers a different package that was expected that day, but not this one. At 4:40pm, the delivery updates to 'package picked up at facility'. I'm homebound. Did not pick up from facility. At 4:40pm the office is closed anyway. It took forever to get to Customer Service, instead of waiting, set a call back. When they call you back, the number comes up as Showcase Entertainment. Not USPS. I answered it anyway, which I wouldn't usually do since it looks like Spam. Agent tells me it's probably a mis scan and they can't investigate until the date it is scheduled to he delivered passes. I try to call CF post office directly. Even after 10am, the office closed message is still on the phone, telling me I've called after hours, and they open at 9:30am. No one ever answers. I catch the mailman the 6th, day after delivery due. He doesn't remember the package. Give him the tracking number, describe it's in a Walmart box, tell him there are some clothing items, beauty items, personal items. He leaves and comes back, can't find it. Ok, file a missing package claim, which I had to do with Customer Service at 'Showcase Entertainment' because the USPS website is a nightmare and most links do not work, the missing package page wouldn't load. I finally get a call from CF post office. I give all the same info to a young man, I think he said his name was Alex, who says they are looking for it. The following day, an Erica calls me, I give her all the same info. She calls me back, they don't have the package anywhere. She apologized and tell me to file a claim for insurance. The website doesn't allow me to even enter the date, every time I tap the field to enter it, a calendar pops up and immediately disappears. So, can't file a claim. I also suspect that even if I was able to get through the process, the scan still says the package was 'delivered, pick up by individual at facility' so the site may not accept my claim. Both my friend and I are furious and saddened. This never happened with UPS. The first time she used USPS and the package disappears. Erica kept my number in case it's found. She calls me a week later and says she feels bad and want to replace the items, and offers to send her email address so I can send the info on what was in the box. She also tells me to use a different browser to file the claim. That didn't work either and I never get that email from her. Checked spam and inbox for several days. I even have pictures of most of the stuff because my friend sends me pictures each time before she sends off the box. She doesn't have receipts for all of it because she collects these things throughout the year, new items that have been bought by her or donated by others. This once a year pick me up for my emotional state turned into a sad nightmare. This place is a joke. I've had more missing mail since moving to CF than ever in my life. One year a Christmas card from my Aunt with a check in it was missing, showing in Informed Delivery, and suddenly showed up a week later after I had a fit over the phone to CF Post Office. Don't use USPS if you can help it, and don't expect into receive your mail and packages, even when they're in Informed Delivery. This place is a joke. They stole that package from me. If it was scanned and on the truck for delivery and they delivered a different package that day, why didn't they just deliver both packages? What take it back to the office and scan it as delivered and picked up? Because they STOLE it. I hope you all are happy with the beauty items and plus size underwear and bras.

Very rude white bald tattooed guy behind the counter needs customer service training now. No surprise this location has such bad reviews. This is also a direct reflection on management for allowing all the different types of issues mentioned in the reviews to happen in the first place. If people don't like communicating with the general public, maybe you should rethink your position and go into the back and sort letters or push a broom. It would be nice to see the Post Master General take a hard look at this locations employees and hold some serious customer service training ASAP. Just a little reminder, it starts at the TOP.
