The one star is being generous. In the 32 years that I have been using the postal service, I've never had any issues until moving to Marion.
They will use any excuse to not deliver, including inventing one. Our packages have been left in our garage, on top of our mailbox out on the road, perishable frozen items left in the heat, while we were home, without letting us know...along with other incidents. This is even after filling out the form with instructions on deliveries at our address, which the post master said "had" to be filed.
Samson, the post master, refuses to address or correct the issues as they continue to occur. One thing you can give this location is they're consistent at making excuses to not do their job.

Worst post office ever. I went in to purchase a box to send to Florida to get my sons cell phone left at a gas station coming off of a cruise. The older African American male asked me my zipcode. I gave it. He says you live in Latta. I told him I live on the border of both but have a Latta address and we are in Marion County. He proceeds to tell me that I should call them and text or email a picture of my address to them. He even mentioned to cashapp them. Really a random person working at a gas station I’m going to send them money? I said Sir I gave them the address and they keep copying it wrong somehow. They barely pick up the phone . I’m lucky if I get them. He proceeds to tell me well maybe you haven’t received it because you are confusing them telling them you live in Marion County. I told him Sir I just gave them the address . He continues to tell me what he think the problem is and I am 20 steps ahead of him. So I told him I want to mail a box and get the phone. He says you’ll have to pay about $30.00 I said ok. Turns out when he rang it up it was $10.00 He proceeds to get me a box and two labels and was like you have to fill both of these labels out and give them to me….mind you I can read well. So I starting filling them out he says not here We are about to go to lunch. I’m like you can’t ring me up and I feel out these right quick he’s like that guy is going into overtime. No customer service at all. Why give people jobs dealing with the public when you don’t wanna work them.Customer is always right. It would’ve only taken a second. Also I got on there well enough time he was just going back and forth because he was ready to go to lunch. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere. Once I get the corporate number I will Be calling.

The post office itself is usually very efficient and they do their best to get people moving through the line. However, some of the drivers do a very slack job. They often overstuff my mailbox with packages, because they don't want to bring them up to the house. They have done this to the point that they broke my flag off from the inside. They also bent my mailbox when they hit it with their car. I reported it to the post office, but they offered no help and certainly not a new mailbox. I had to do the repairs. Lots of times if I put something to go out, they will not pick it up. If I really want to be sure to send a letter out, I have to drive to town to do that. My neighbors also complain about the service. I also don't like the fact that my mail runs so late. In the winter it's after dark. I know the US mail service has cut back in some places, but that doesn't mean what's left can't be top notch.
