They close for two hours in the middle of the afternoon or at other random times without notice when other post offices are open. Twice they have left the community mailboxes in our neighborhood unlocked with all doors standing wide open where people could take anything they wanted. On top of that they always get the address wrong! Would never be in business if not run by the government
- JVJenifer ValenteAug 28, 20251.0I recently moved to Johns Island and unfortunately this has been the worst post service I’ve ever dealt with in the Charleston area. They lost my driver’s license that was mailed to me and couldn’t locate it. Packages have been held at the post office claiming I “requested” it, when really it was just because they didn’t fit in the locker. A large package that was supposed to be delivered wasn’t — instead of dropping it at my house, they took it back to the post office. I’ve never had so many issues with USPS anywhere else as I’ve had with this one.

Piggy backing on the rest of the reviews this guy is doing whatever he wants at this post office and I witnessed how he insulted a customer that did wish to have her passport mailed . She explained to him because I was right behind her in line that all she was there for was because she needed an acceptance agent . She then told him all he needed to do was witness her signature and for him to see her id and she even gave him a fed ex label to fed ex . She said please all I need is for you to ship it seal it and witness my signature she said . I felt so bad for this gal . He said I can't do it . No sir you didn't want to do it . I can see why you folks are not hiring because this man should be terminated and fired . Do not come to this post office unless you want to be harassed and disrespected
