Horrible passport services, I was sent on a wild goose chase almost 6 times trying to get my application sent out, the first time I was told I needed a voters id, (which I found out after 3 weeks of dealing with that you do NOT need) the second and third time I apparently printed it on the wrong paper, (which was fine the first time I came) and they couldn’t do photo services. the 4th time (after another 2 weeks of getting photos done) I was “late to my appointment” (I was in line for 20 minutes and they only had one person at the teller) 5th time and 6th I came during walk-in hours (the 5th time she told me she was on lunch at that hour, the 6th time she told me doesn’t do applications during walk-in hours) and the last time which was this morning I came in after making a 8:45 appointment. As a note I work 7:30 to 5:30 as a caregiver so it is EXTREMELY difficult to make appointments without a heavy drawback on clients and my hours. I came in 10 minutes early with 2 people in front of me and finally spoke to someone at 8:57, and surprise surprise the person doing applications wasn’t in. (She had a good reason but this is after seeing the person who does the appointments 3 times prior and it “not being a good time for her”) This was AFTER my appointment was confirmed that morning before I came in. And all she had to say was a half-meaning apology and no offer to fix their mistake. I drove to Florence post office immediately and was in and out under 20 minutes with no prior communication with the office. I understand being short staffed, and my own mistakes in the process but this was just the result of lazy work ethic. This is just pathetic on part of the management. I did not yell or berate anyone there, I left upset but was in no way rude or disrespectful.
