It has only happened with packages that contained prescription medication, so I think the mail person may be stealing. It's a really big headache for me because those prescriptions are expensive and I can never get the post office to do anything about it or even reimburse me the package insurance. I also saw the mail person ram into a parked car in the parking lot and cause significant damage.

- COCollin OwenJul 15, 20251.0On Friday, I was sent out notice at 9:30am that my package, a carburetor, was out for delivery and needed to be signed for. I was at work. At 11:30, delivery was attempted. I called the USPS main number and was told I should try to pick up the package just before 5pm. I then called the local store. I was told I would have to come back Monday morning at 8am to pick up the package and that it would not be delivered again but not back by 5pm. I tried calling at 4pm or so around 5x to double check. Nobody picked up. On Monday morning, I drove to the store and there was a sign at the door saying they would not open until 9:30am, instead of 8am. I was unable to wait that long, because I have a job. I arrived at 4:45pm, and was told that delivery was again attempted at around 3pm. This was contrary to previous feedback that delivery would not be attempted again and that I needed to go to the store to pick up the package in person. I was told to take the new slip that was in my mailbox and sign it and put my flag up. I went home. There was no slip. My fiance had been home for hours and the package had not been attempted. There was other mail in the mailbox. I went into the store on Tuesday morning for the third time and the package was there. In sum, I had to drive to the store 3 different times to obtain the package and was told conflicting information by 3 different USPS workers. Complete dysfunction. The lady on Tuesday morning was nice and my package was not ruined. So I guess there's that.
