- SCShelby CollinsJan 2, 20261.0Hate this post office. They NEVER deliver packages into our apartment complex. They say it’s “undeliverable” and then never reattempt. They’ve told me they “aren’t allowed” to go into gated communities despite the actual usps company telling me they in fact CAN. They just don’t want to. It’s insane that my building has many (in multiple sizes) lock boxes in our mailroom that they also could leave it in, but they don’t. Even when I’ve told them “leave it in the mailroom on the table, if it gets stolen then I won’t hold you liable, they STILL never attempt another delivery. So I have to drive 40mins to the post office and wait, just because they are lazy and won’t deliver. Yes the have the gate code, yes the office staff will let them in, they just don’t want to come in and deliver. If I knew something was being shipped usps I would go out of my way to buy from literally anywhere else to make sure it’s delivered by a different carrier. Absolute trash. The people who work at the office, great, they are great and quick. But the delivery drivers, trash.
