The post office itself is ok. The delivery service, however, is absolutely horrible. We’ve had THREE packages delivered to the wrong address in the last six months. Dunno who the carriers are, but the carriers responsible for the Forest Lawn subdivision are either blind or incompetent. Possibly a combination of the two.

Absolutely useless. The Goose Creek USPS somehow manages to fail at the most basic part of its job—accepting mail. The drop box is constantly locked, often during normal business hours, with zero explanation or signage. If you work normal hours, good luck mailing anything at all.
The Goose Creek USPS is what happens when an organization completely gives up but still expects a paycheck.
The whole point of a drop box is convenience, yet this location defeats that purpose every single time. It feels lazy, poorly managed, and completely indifferent to the people who rely on it. If you don’t want to provide postal services, then don’t pretend to. Easily the most frustrating post office I’ve dealt with. At this point it’s not a drop box, it’s a prop. A metal middle finger to anyone who thought mailing something would take less than half a day. It’s like some kind of exclusive VIP feature the public isn’t allowed to use.
The Goose Creek USPS is an absolute masterclass in incompetence. I genuinely don’t understand how a post office can be this bad at being a post office.
There’s never an explanation. No sign. No notice. Just a locked box and the silent assumption that your time means absolutely nothing to them. Heaven forbid you have a job or responsibilities and can’t stand in line forever while employees move at a glacial pace behind the counter.
This place operates with the energy of people who know they can’t be fired and don’t care. The attitude is consistently miserable, the organization is nonexistent, and the overall vibe screams “we hate the public and we’re proud of it.” If you’re going to lock the drop box all the time, just remove it entirely and stop pretending you offer basic services.
Every visit feels like a punishment for daring to need mail service. The Goose Creek USPS isn’t just inefficient — it’s actively hostile to customers. Easily one of the worst-run post offices I’ve ever encountered, and that’s saying something.

I come here every year with a postal money order from my elderly parents. The service is quick, professional and worth the wait!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I normally do not share negative experiences but I am today! I went in the Goose Creek post office because I applied for my passport online and brought the materials I received in the mail to the post office like I was supposed to. The guy that waited on me was extremely rude to me. He asked me if this was my first time applying for a passport, I stated yes. He said rudely you can't do that for the first time here and I have to pay for their processing fee! He looked at his co worker and said tell her! He said again I told you! It wasn't even about paying their processing fee it's how he handled it. If you dont like your position then maybe you shouldn't be there! I wish people would just be kind. I do not recommend anyone going to the goose creek post office. Moving forward i will go to another location.
