- RDRachael DSep 28, 20251.0I would give this post office a better rating if it was not for one particular lady (oh, how I wish I knew her name) that works there. She is middle aged, short to medium height, often grayish color hair, I think braids, a gruff demeaner, and from what I can see, the oldest of all the other front counter staff– who I don’t have an ounce of problem with, may I add. I dread going into the post office when I see her behind the counter. She is soooo mean and irritable. I can’t remember a time that I went to this P O and she does not snap or fuss at me or give me a hard time over useless stuff. At one point I had not seen her there in a while and had hoped she retired, but no, I go in one day and there she is again, just as irritable and nasty as always. The worst part of this, on days when I ask her questions regarding mailings or just trying to get a package left for me, she has given me false information ( I found this out later when I called the USPS 800# to fact check). I don’t think it’s because she does not know the answers, she has been at this post office for years. Why this woman has such issues with me I’m not for sure. I’m an easy-going person. For customers who she simply “does her job” without all her nastiness and angry demeaner, she tells them to rate her service online. For what? For doing your job? I never recall her asking me to review her, I think she knows better than that. I kinda felt sorry for her at one time. I thought maybe she had a bad situation going on in her home life, so I never wrote a review on her. But no more. Overall, I think most of our postal services in the Columbia area are doing a good job, but this one on Garners Ferry Rd with this lady, is the bad apple, in my opinion. If the post office is seeing this, please check into this matter. I need to be able to take care of my postal business without walking in with my fingers cross hoping this unpleasant woman is not behind the counter. I really don’t believe I am the only one who have to deal with this unhappy woman. If I am the only one, it still matters.
- JCJane Ann ClougherAug 2, 20251.0If I could give them 0 stars I would. We had live insects being delivered to our house for our lizard before vacation and it took 5 days to roll through Columbia. I had put our mail on hold for 8/2. On 7/31, I changed the hold date to 8/4, so the live insects would arrive at our home on 8/2. They started the mail hold on 8/2, I called the 800 number, I was told that the Garners Ferry location does pick ups from 8-11 am on Saturday and someone should be manning the back phone line. My husband ran over there and was met by the rudest employee ever. She told him we have never been open on Saturdays, he told her the information that he was given and she pointed to a hand filled out sign and said it says right there we aren't open and slammed the door in his face. He encountered another women in the parking lot walking in with a box and told her they were closed, she told him she just talked to someone at the 800 number and was told that they were open from 8-11. So either the 800 number is giving out the wrong information or the rude people at Garners Ferry USPS are just lazy. Oh and here is the kicker if the whole story, I was supposed to get 3 packages. The urgent one being the live insects, they delivered 1 of the 3, it was not the insects.

- SSsouthernpridewdcMay 28, 20221.0Leesburg Branch - A very few of the Employees and Carriers are great, the overwhelming majority need to seek employment elsewhere. It's very obvious when the regular Carrier is not working. Delivery attempts, if any are at very unusual times, delivered to the wrong address or brought back to the branch. Tracking information states " Attempt Made" (lie) at a false time (lie), Customer may pick up at local branch. What's happen to the pride once was to be a Postal Worker?
