  Wow. Place an order for invitations that I need before the weekend, it says they will be ready at 6:30. Drive up at 6:30 and they close at 6:00. Literally stood at the door staring in disbelief that a company this large will just steal money from people in this day and age by knowingly not correcting business hours since there are plenty other reviews complaining about the store hours being wrong. Guess I should have read the reviews. But it’s staples — they know people will continue using them because they have to. Big business for ya.

  The only reason I’m writing right now is because I entered the store today to return an amazon product via staples and the customer service rep. Robin was rude to me when I asked if there was a receipt or something I could get for the return, she said no. Cool. Fine. I’m okay with that. When I asked her name so I could keep track of who scanned my item, she immediately got defensive and said “well my name isn’t gonna help you. I have nothing to do with that.” Mind you she scanned my item that I’ll get a refund for. But whatever. She needs to move off of the front line if she’s gonna be rude to customers.

  Beware of Amazon drop point. Did not receive receipt as I have on all previous drops at this location. Clerk would not allow me to photograph label on box for proof of turn in. Said Amazon would email a receipt. I left an item of value with no proof.

  Horrible customer service. Saterday afternoon, 03-21-2026, I went to the Harbison Staples to try and get a mailing label printed and a package shipped via USPS. I was directed to the "Printing" section of the store. There, I waited for the lady in charge of that area to finish helping another customer, who I gathered was a friend of hers. When she finished and turned to me, I told her what I needed, and that I needed to get the mailing label from my phone to a printer. I am a senior citizen and while I can use my phone and the internet, I am not a tech geek. I looked at the machines and was clueless as to how to operate them. I told the lady that I needed serious help with this. She responded by pushing a laminated piece of paper with a URL towards me. I pulled up the URL on my phone and found it to be of no help. By then, she was chatting it up with a male customer. I was trying to get her eye and then another female customer walked up. It became obvious that she had less than zero interest in helping me so I left. I hate to play this card as I usually consider it to be in poor taste, but I noted that she seemed happy waiting on the other customers but was not interested in helping me. Was it because the other customers looked more like her than I do? I certainly hope not, but can't help but wonder given her behavior towards me.

  Despite Google being updated 11 weeks ago, this location is not open until 8. I made a special trip from Lexington to do an Amazon return at 7:15 and they said they closed at 7 now. Wasted trip. People rely on Google so be professional enough to notify them if you change your hours.
