  Was liking the restaurants affiliated with this group and wanted find what other ones were in the area. I went to their website but realized I was unable to view that content without opting into their cookies/trackers, and over privacy concerns decided to go try other restaurants unaffiliated with their group.

  I have lived in Garden City for over 60 years and have been to Paparazzi weekly and now Avvio. I am dieting so I ordered a piece of grilled chicken and pasta as most dishes are fried or with heavy sauces. The waiter was very attentive to the tables around us but neglected us most of the night. I eat out at least three times a week and the service was terrible. Then I ate my pasta that definitely tasted “off” … either the sauce was spoiled or something else. I then received the bill and was charged $36 dollars for plain marinara "off tasting" pasta with nothing in it and a very small piece of grilled chicken--three slices to be exact. I eat out often and come from an Italian family that cooks amazing food so I know really good food..this is not Italian or worth going out for. I don’t mind paying for it if it was a really amazing dish. When I questioned the bill that I never do.. the waiter said… "I don’t make the prices" with no offer to review the bill. I then questioned the manager who said” oh that bill is incorrect and credited me 6 dollars with really no apology. I will never return to Avvio even though I’m a rewards member and ate there weekly for years. Garden City deserves better... And this restaurant needs to go back to the amazing service and food of Paparazzi. I’m definitely writing a letter to corporate as it took 20 minutes to also get the bill and we were holiday shopping and trying to get out of there before the stores closed..don’t waste your time here .. there are too many amazing restaurants in RI with amazing workers that care.

  We the have really enjoyed many of your establishments. Can you PLEASE stop trying to upsell the trash water known as casamigos tequila? This has happened at 3 restaurants over the last few years. Please, at least try to upsell me something that is not riddled with disgusting added flavors and sweeteners. Maybe try Don Fulano, anything from nom 1579, or nom 1139. Even better... just don't even bother stocking celebrity tequila brands. They are just about all garbage that you should be too proud to stock and sell. You can make good margin on products that are not offensively terrible. Other than that, keep on keeping on!
