This location suffers from customers using a service, getting aggravated, and running online to vent. I've lived in North Providence since 2007 and have used this post office whenever I need it. The current workers, whom I've seen there for awhile now, put up with a LOT of crap from the public and take the punishment professionally. It's a post office. It's like a DMV -- you're going to wait, you're going to be told you did something incorrect and to fix it if you did. While in line, I've never seen more patience from the workers. The "attitude" isn't attitude; its professional civil servants who know how to stand up to rude, trashy patrons that treat them like servants.
I'm writing this review because I recently had to ship something overseas. What more: I had to ship it specially to a military base, which then sends it internationally for me. These workers WERE MY ROCK. Through the WHOLE process, they advised, triple-checked, and helped me find the right forms. They let me borrow tape, sharpies, and even offered to re-box it in-house so I didn't have to buy two box sizes that MAY work. Insane: that's amazing service. I treated them with respect, they treated me with respect. It's that simple.
Katt, Don, and Donna are the coolest. They decorate the place to the nines for every holiday (its decorated for Valentine's Day as I write this), they keep the line flowing, and they are knowledgeable and do their job well. I'm extremely appreciative of them and all the help they've offered me through this because I was CLUELESS in this process. From one civil servant to another: keep doin' you and not takin' garbage attitudes from your patrons. It's refreshing to see workers chained to desks able to stand up to people who walk through the door with an immediate vendetta looking to make issue. Good job, y'all! Cheers!

I’ve never ever write a review for anything and this would be my first but this is easily one of the worst USPS locations I have ever dealt with. The way customers are treated here is rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable.
I went in because my package had been stuck at the “distribution center” for seven days. Normally, once my packages reach that point, I receive them the very next day, so I knew something was wrong. When I asked Donna about it, she looked at me like I was stupid and told me to just wait for the tracking to update. There was no effort to help, no concern, and no professionalism at all. I later found out that my package was lost, so my concern was valid the entire time.
Katt is no better. She has zero customer service skills and speaks to customers with a rude and unpleasant tone every time. She acts like she hates her job and takes that frustration out on the people she is supposed to help. If someone cannot treat customers with basic respect, they should not be working in a customer service position.
One day, they are going to treat someone who will not tolerate this kind of attitude and will not just walk away quietly. When that happens, it will be a direct result of how customers are consistently treated here.

I ran into the same older lady with blonde hair people often complain about here.
She had an unnecessary attitude because I showed up without taping the label.
I thought USPS handled that, like UPS and FedEx do.
After being rude, she did politely ask if I was okay.
I was the only customer there, so it’s not like she was busy.
Lastly, on the payment terminal, she gave herself a green smiley, claiming she did a good job, without giving me the chance to exercise my rights.
I also filed an official complaint, but it was closed without any meaningful action.

We've been in a pandemic for about a year, and you allow your front desk worker to not wear a mask while dealing directly with the clients. Not sanitizing hands between packages or anything!?
