The RISBDC exists to create and promote economic development throughout Rhode Island, one business at a time. Our relationship-based model provides support, information, resources, and education to help small businesses succeed. We service all industries. Our staff is a team of dedicated, experienced and knowledgeable business counselors and administrators. We offer group trainings (in person and virtual) and one-to-one counseling for launching a new business and expanding an existing business, including financial statement development, loan application preparation, strategic planning, and expanding into international trade, and more.
