Everyone has been cheerful and helpful, inside the post office and out on their routes. They have gone out of their way to provide information or help, and it feels wonderful to go in; very small town, pleasant atmosphere. I'm surprised by the negative reviews. We lived in other places in the country where the postal folks couldn't care less; our experience here has been more than five stars.
- KKKurtJan 20, 20185.0Having lived here my whole life (37 years), i have not had a single negative experience or encountered the rudeness cited by the previous reviews. The postal clerks, postmasters (current and previous), and the mailpersons who deliver our mail 6 dsys a week have been nothing but nice and extremely helpful when I have had problems. As for mail forwarding, I have had zero issues that can even be attributed to the JTN PO. As an FYI Mr. Smyth, forwarding is completely automated and often takes place at hub post offices, which for all of RI is the main Providence Station. For lack of a better word, the mood of postal Clerks as with any customer service clerks is both consciously and unconsciously influenced by both how they treated by their customers' and their general attitudes.
