- BPB PDec 13, 20211.0I tried to mail a cell phone to my Brother in Virginia as a Christmas present. Went to Post office in Hope R I Clerk said I can’t send it through air mail because it has a lithium battery . Clerk said it had to go ground and would take 10 days . Clerk told me to go to the UPS store . As I went out to the car ,I googled on my phone “can you air mail a cell phone US Postal Service? “ it said yes ! it just needs a label identifying that it has a lithium battery . So I went back in to show them what I read on the Internet . Clerk said “we don’t have those labels “! what a joke . just take the governments money . I don’t know how the post office is still in business . I went to ups store , $23 it’ll be there 48 hrs. Even boxed it up for me. Thanks ups

There are over 20 lined spots dedicated to customers, with a separate side entrance for those just coming to pick up POB mail. The postal clerks in this small town post office will gladly take time to help you determine the very best way to send your items, and assist with the best packaging material and tape. They have everything available that a large office would - without the hassle and the lines. Prompt professional service with a smile :)
