  Trust the bad reviews about this store. I went in to ship a small envelope to Toronto. The young trainee who helped me initially is really kind and trying his best. There was a false charge of $89 first, which i noticed and he quickly corrected — that part was fine. I clearly said I did not want express air shipping and only the standard ground cheapest rate. Without my knowledge, they processed it as a “standard express air” shipment for $61. After an hour I returned to the store to cancel my shipment, the store supervisor came out yelling that they don’t cancel shipments just like that. I was raised to respect people in customer-facing jobs, so I always make sure to treat them with kindness. It was the middle of my workday and i stood there for 2 hours while she repeatedly yelled “You won’t get a penny!” and was trying to intimidate, manipulate and pressure me into giving up on the cancellation. She even hid my package behind the counter, smirking and saying “no way I’m letting you walk away with a free package” — which made absolutely no sense and felt like racial profiling. Why would i steal my own envelope without a refund? Insisting the refund had to be done by cheque even though I paid using my credit card she handed me a photocopy of my waybill form with “VOID” and “refund by mail” written on it using a Sharpie. Thankfully I confirmed with customer care later that FedEx refunds are always done to the original mode of payment, so to my card. Finally after 2 hours the store supervisor cancels my shipment and then asks me “So would you like to check the standard ground shipping rates for your package?” Make it make sense.. 😐 Pretty sure FedEx will never really take any steps to improve this location’s management and sales practices. I’ve since gone to UPS and shipped the same envelope for $23 in five minutes — no overcharges, no yelling, no games. Goodbye FedEx :)

  saw all the 1 star reviews and thought they were being dramatic. nope. super rude people. they couldn’t print 1 page to put in my package because they anticipated they might be low on toner later. so you turn me away now because you may have to turn people away later? based on a problem that doesn’t exist? you’re incompetent

  I didn't catch the name of the person who served me Thursday, Oct 2 around 11am or so, but she was just above and beyond. Incredibly friendly, personable, professional, and efficient. I was so pleased - package got to destination without any issue.

  Even though I’ve been here many times, it’s not easy to find and there aren’t helpful signs until you arrive. You can access it from within the Cathcart or from the street, but neither has a sign. The outdoor entrance is just across from Anytime Fitness. The internal hall is next to the bookstore, Renaud-Bray. Also, if you’re collecting a package, remember to bring your ID with the address matching the address the package was sent to—or a bill, like a hydro bill. Your name won’t be enough if the address doesn’t match.
