- JCJessica CNov 14, 20251.0Although the lady at the front desk aera was nice, I had to pay $1.79 to tape the top of my small box. The box was already to go except for the small piece of tape needed to seal the box so it could be shipped. I asked if she could put a piece of tape on the top of the box and she said she couldn't. I had to buy the tape there because my package is time sensitive and it would have taken longer to go get some other tape. Buying a whole roll there is out of the question given the ridiculous fee for a roll so, I purchased a package of 4 pieces of tape (smallest you can purchase). Somehow after buying the single pieces of tape, im supposed to be happy that I had to buy 4 because I'll have 3 pieces left over to use for the next time, as the lady mentioned. Now I know why no one uses the post office that much anymore. I do understand the lady is just doing her job and was probably told not to tape anyone's box so, the one star is only for the fees, not that she was rude or not polite.

Turns out my package was on its way to another town. The package made its way all the way across the country but things went bad when in the hands of the York system
