The staff at the store told me to be sure and put lots of padding in the boxes so I put several inches of bubble wrap along the insides of the boxes and around the individual items. Most of the boxes arrived partially crushed and some of them had gouges in them. I sent a picture of my home to a friend and the boxes happened to be in the picture. She actually commented on how crushed the boxes looked. Needless to say, many of the items were broken so I was not able to easily set up my home and had to spend a lot of money replacing all the broken items. I had planned on shipping more items at some point (including art work because they claim to have special boxes for that) but I WILL NEVER USE FEDEX AGAIN. I caution anyone planning to use them.
