Staples seems to be trying very hard to reinvent itself lately, but honestly, it feels completely directionless. This store now looks like a strange mix of everything and nothing at the same time — truly a perfect example of “trying to be everything and ending up as nothing.” The most confusing part is the full-on rollout of Party City products, especially ironic considering Party City itself has gone bankrupt. Partnering with a failed company doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. In one corner, there’s an eyeglass service. In the middle of the store, there’s a mobile phone booth selling and activating phone plans with some telecom company. And the most ridiculous part? One corner looks like Dollar Tree, a flea market, or a yard sale — bins filled with random items that honestly look like someone picked them out of a junk pile. Meanwhile, Staples itself feels like a guest in its own store. The brand has lost its identity, its focus, and its personality. It no longer feels like Staples — just a confused marketplace renting out corners and hoping something sticks. A bit sad, a bit funny, and mostly just disappointing

This staples is trash. I walked in today to inquire about a print job. The girls attitude was horrible. She acts like i was annoying her asking basic questions. I ended up just leaving.

I stopped by the Staples at Gateway Shopping Center recently and had a great experience. The store is neat, easy to navigate, and always stocked with everything from office supplies to mailing materials. I originally went in to drop off an Amazon return using their UPS drop-off service, and it couldn’t have been easier—they scanned my code, packed it for me, and I was done in less than two minutes. It’s super convenient having that service right inside Staples, especially when you’re already out running errands. While I was there, I picked up a few things for work and found some decent deals on supplies. The staff were friendly and made sure I had everything I needed without hovering. Checkout was quick, and parking around the shopping center is always easy to find. Overall, this location is a really handy stop for returns, shipping, and office supply runs—all in one place.
