They always have a reason as to why they can’t deliver or it says they have held my package or mail at the request of the customer but we have never told them that. I will no longer order things online and have packages delivered because I don’t wanna deal with the hassle. And why is it we live in a state where it snows and they only have 2 wheel drive trucks?

They used to be the only reliable carrier/post, now they’re just as bad as FedEx and UPS. The amount of times that my packages are, “held at post office by customer request” because they forgot to stop, or just drove past is ridiculous. They used to be amazing, I used to recommend USPS, but about two years ago, they just started going downhill, and have continued to do so. Many of the workers are rude in the actual office, I get being overworked and many people are rude themselves to customer service (I’ve worked in CS) but that doesn’t excuse taking it out on the ones who aren’t rude, especially when they’re polite to you.

Getting tired of our mail not being delivered for months. I can see the grass on the ground and there hasn't been any snow in front of the mail box for weeks. Every other type of delivery driver wouldn't get paid if they don't deliver the packages. But of course since it's federal, the post office can still get paid without doing their job. Also tell me why, when penndot destroys 7 of my mailboxes within 3 years, the post office gets angry and scolds me them having to hold our mail? You all get paid more than me, so do your job and stop wasting my time and gas.

Getting in contact with anyone at the Waterford Postal Service is almost impossible. I send my mail through a different post office in a neighboring city when I need to send anything out. My mail is almost always soaking wet in my mailbox when it is snowing/raining. I am still receiving mail for people that lived in my apartment 5 years ago despite consistently returning it. It is so frustrating and I wish there were a more reliable customer service to speak with.

Growing up in Waterford my family’s mail carrier, Jay was fantastic. Always friendly and reliable. Now I have a place of my own but have learned, sadly, that Jay was the exception, not the rule. The current carriers and staff are, to put it simply … unmotivated. The lady at the desk, Laurie (or Lori, not sure how it’s spelled and I’m sure she’d say she doesn’t either) is condescending and useless. Can’t answer any questions or offer any information. Packages get marked as delivered, yet are nowhere to be found. No less than weekly are my neighbors and I exchanging mail that has been delivered to the wrong home. Quite simply, diligence is unheard of around that office. Customer care is nonexistent. Honestly, if you’re moving into an area serviced by this comedy show, I’d encourage you to get a PO Box in Erie or the nearest neighboring town. I wouldn’t even go in this location to buy stamps.
