Treated like hell for showing up to job that wouldn't allow me into the building or knew why I was their after waiting another hour and getting the same results I left just to get blacklisted and told I was completely wrong for leaving the job site that didn't exist. Many Other companies out in the area that do the same thing but better I recommend mancan higher pay better jobs treated like human being and that actually make sure the employees are taken care and treated like they matter compared to a money making entity and situations are actually handled with respect and care. And not shove all blame against the employees to satisfy a employeer

People ready in Washington Pennsylvanian is a joke there's no jobs anywhere in town the very few jobs that do pop up on the app says if u didn't work this job last week u can't work this week. Today a job popped up for the Arden landfill in Washington Pennsylvania I clicked on the button to accept the job and was all set to work or so I thought a few minutes go by I call the office to see if id need to pick up my ticket for work or would it be at the job site. I was told in a non professional manner that the job wasn't for me that it belongs to someone else I asked then why does it say it was available and why did it accept me for the job then I was then told again that the job is for someone else. And was hung up on no apologies no explanation nothing. I recently applied the works for people running again since it's been over 3 years since my incident happened with them being unprofessional I was informed that the old district manager does not want me to work for people ready anymore he explained the situation that I had threatened him was extremely disrespectful and made him feel uncomfortabl over the phone. I still see that Labor ready chooses favoritism over professionalism which was the whole problem to begin with I do not recommend working with people ready the lady who explained all this to me on the phone was also disrespectful told me to be quiet and I'll explain everything to you people ready on Jefferson avenue in Washington πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

It has now taken over four weeks for me to be paid for all five days that I worked on a job. Calling the office always results in me being told that I need to call someone else or that the issue will be looked in to with me never getting paid completely. The only way that I was paid partially is because I spent multiple days calling everyone in the company I could get in touch with and repeatedly stopped by the office; which, was always closed hours before the time posted online and on the office doors. The people on the actual job that I was sent to were great to work with and made a very labor intensive day go by quickly. However, the office staff told me very little about the job and I showed up unprepared. Only discovering once I got to the work location, that took over an hour to get to, that I needed a certain kind of shirt and boots for the job. If you can find another source of temporary income I'd take it. The Washington People Ready could be a good place to find new opportunities, unfortunately it was extremely disorganized and treated workers with little regard or respect. Asking questions about a job were blown off or answered with the shortest, most vague reply with a rude overtone as though you were stupid for asking about the work you would be doing, for them. Inquiring about actually getting paid for work that had been completed when the office staff told us we were going to be paid was met with hostility and caused the guy behind the desk to start acting like he wanted to fight someone. No one works for People Ready because they don't need money, to have it take a month just to be paid for one week seems illegal, shady, and certainly should at the very least stand as a strong word of caution to stay away when looking for work.
