- THTony HockenberryDec 1, 20201.0Zero stars is sadly not an option. I have had multiple issues over the years with the Vandergrift post office delivering packages to my address. Including but not limited to 1) Stuffing packages into my mailbox that are far too big for the mailbox and them becoming stuck or sticking out of the front of the box 2) Placing packages in my yard 3) Placing packages in front of my garage where they cannot easily be seen and then risking running into or over them with my vehicle, ETC. The latest issue is that they are refusing to deliver any packages until April because of the snow tires on their vehicles. This is unbelievable. I'm fairly sure the USPS gets paid well to deliver for Amazon and other online retailers and their refusal to deliver is pure laziness. I honestly hope the government does away with the post office as they have become a national embarrassment. I would gladly pay extra to any online retailer to use any other delivery carrier.
