- JLJean Ann LehmanJan 17, 20261.0The mail carrier for Spring Grove just dropped off IN THE SNOW ON THE GROUND 2boxes of books I ordered. Luckily we were home but the boxes were all wet of course and all the books would have been totally ruined. The regular carrier has always brought packages to the patio no matter what the weather. This is careless and unprofessional. The postal system is having enough problems as it is, so why hire someone who doesn’t care if the mail is just thrown on the ground in the snow??????

It really sucks though when I pay for express shipping and am notified my package is meant to be delivered today (Saturday) only to find out that they couldn’t deliver due to “no access”. The front of the mailbox wasn’t blocked. The pathway to the door was clear. Now I have to wait till Monday to receive something I paid for express shipping on. Post office is closed early on Saturday. I’m just confused as to why delivering a package to a residence you are at and have access to is hard. Reading the other reviews I’m not the only person who has had this problem.
