  Friendly staff. I bought a box for my package which I expected to pay, but nobody told me they charge for packing my stuff? I just realized this upon looking at the receipt. If only I had known that, I would have just grabbed the box and pack my stuff myself. Wow. What a rip off. Lesson learned. I'll buy my own materials and pack it myself next time. Please have your staff disclose it to your customers before paying.

  Probably the worst UPS stores I w been to. Popped in here instead of my usual spots since I was in the area. Wanted to charge me TWO DOLLARS to tape a box! After googling I see this is a newer practice but NEVER have I ever been charged at any of the others I’ve used. The last package I dropped off the woman before me actually had a FedEx box and he told her where to drop it off and he actually TAPED her box since it wasn’t that secure. You have a choice where you patronize. Keep that in mind when utilizing these shops. They are all franchises.

  This place is great! Came in not realizing they are closing and though all the computers were shut down and they were on their way out the door, the people still helped me without making me feel bad.

  Yesterday, I had a wonderful experience at the Southampton UPS Store. I’m always happy with their service and the friendly staff, but yesterday was especially exceptional. I called late in the afternoon to inquire about having dishes packed and shipped to Tennessee. The manager, Shahzad, was very kind and quickly scheduled me for 4:00 PM. When I arrived, the store was quite busy, and Shahzad was finishing packing another customer’s items in the back. When it was my turn, he invited me to watch the packing process. It was unexpectedly fascinating — I learned a lot about the care, attention to detail, and effort required to pack fragile items safely. While I was there, the UPS driver arrived around 4:30 to pick up several boxes. I didn’t catch his name, but he was very positive and friendly, with a warm smile. He mentioned he had already made 200 stops and still had two more hours to go — and yet his attitude never wavered. It was uplifting to be around such cheerful, hardworking people, especially with all the negativity we often see in the world. I didn’t stay to watch the second box get packed because I completely trusted Shahzad to handle everything and ship it out by the end of the day — and he did. His professionalism, patience, and kindness really stood out. I will definitely keep doing my business at Shahzad’s UPS Store, and now that he explained the shredding process, I plan to use their shredding services too. Wishing Shahzad, the UPS driver, and everyone at the Southampton UPS Store a very happy, healthy, and safe holiday season. They definitely earned it!
