- AHAndria HeplerSep 7, 20241.0I had a very special birthday card which I brought in to mail (and had taken great care to get ready.) The expensive card said it would require additional postage so I wanted to be sure it was correct. The clerk measured and weighed it and slapped an enormous postage rate sticker haphazardly across the envelope and declared it didn't need additional postage. He gave ZERO thought to how much care I had taken to prepare that card for the recipient. And it was clearly a special envelope. I would have gladly purchased an equally beautiful stamp to mail my card but the clerk didn't even notice. The least he could have done is offer me a regular stamp! I'm extremely disappointed and will avoid mailing anything important with that post office in the future.
