Saxonburg is the friendliest PO I've ever been to. Helpful staff.

We were waiting for a certified delivery from Slippery Rock. We also have informed delivery. On9/11 the postal carrier drove by and never paid attention to me standing at the top of my driveway along Helmbold AVE, me being clearly out in the open. They put a note in mt mail box that no one was home. They NEVER attempted delivery.

Negative stars if I could: I am appalled by the customer service at this post office. The USPS service as a whole has many negative jokes around it and the Saxonburg post office truly brings those issues to light. I unfortunately deal with the post office much more than the average American for large amounts of packages. I am shocked at being told that I cannot bring “that many” packages to the post office… the post office that ships packages. To make their jobs easier I have requested regular scheduled pick up to my business and was denied as well as offering to place my packages in a different spot to allow room on the counters and time to get to them and was denied this as well. All my packages are also prepacked AND LABLED with a bar code. I had an extremely surprising and unprofessional interaction with the manager of the Saxonburg post office. With an angry and forward tone she expressed her displeasure of my business and told me I could not drop that many packages off at the post office and they will not scan my packages after five. They will not scan the postage that I have paid for and they just have to use a scanner on. Meanwhile, I have seen them throw my packages labeled fragile while I am standing at the counter and continually have rude customer service from many employees well over a year now. Although I do not understand why bringing packages to the post office receives such a negative response from the employees; I always try to be kind and thankful to them every time. I have tried many of ways to make the scanning of my packages easier on them through pick up or stacking in a different location but was told “no” multiple times, but I continue to receive this unprofessional service. After reading the other reviews, I can see that the lack of customer service is not only to myself but multiple customers. Many similar complaints about rude employees/management. It is sad their reactions are so negative when postage is the whole business that keeps their salaries paid and customers just trying to make money to put food on the table and shelter over their heads and sending notes/gifts to loves ones. I deal with other post offices regularly and try to avoid my local post office in Saxonburg due to the customer service. The other post offices I use are farther away but kind and helpful EVERY TIME I stop in. I will continue to try not to use this post office as often as possible, but sadly I will still need to some days.

Counter worker is extremely rude. Not very helpful and not very careful with packages.
