live on Pius Street and have tried several times now to schedule a pickup for a few packages I have as I run a small business and every single time they haven't shown up to take my packages but still mark the pickup as complete. When I try to call the post office it just rings and rings and rings, no one answers. I am beyond frustrated at this point and considering stopping using the post office altogether.

I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Keith, who may genuinely be the most miserable postal worker I’ve ever encountered. The man baby became visibly annoyed because I asked simple questions like which package to use and where I could find a pen. You know, the kind of questions customers ask at a post office. Instead of helping, Keith responded with the attitude and composure of a small child that was told they couldn’t have ice cream for dinner. Condescending, rude, dismissive, and somehow personally offended that a customer dared speak to him. Watching a grown man nearly lose his cool over basic customer service was honestly embarrassing. I actually left feeling more pity than anger because it’s painfully obvious he either hates his job, hates his life, or more than likely both. You could see it in his face and hear it in his voice that he lost any sense of hope or happiness a long time ago. Apparently the only sense of control he gets is being rude to paying customers asking normal questions. Do better Keith. No one likes this version of you. Keith, if interacting with the public causes you this much emotional distress, customer service may not be the career path for you. Do better.”

If you need help, do not go to this usps. They are unwilling to help and are not very friendly. They will tell you the wrong information when filling out a change of address and won’t take return to sender items if it’s not a south side zip code.

The mail person just doesn't take outgoing mail. Everytime we try leaving the red flag up on our mailbox they just cram more mail on top of the RTS stuff instead of taking it like they're supposed to. On top of that, they'll flip the flag back down without taking anything. One time is a mistake, but this has been back and forth every day for the better part of a month. We've even tried leaving one of the RTS pieces visible and they just push it back down, like if they can't see it it's not their problem any more. I don't know if it's laziness or incompetence but either way I would expect better from the USPS. 😒
