  I understand postal workers don’t have to bring mail to unkept snow covered walkways, which is why I clear my area to make it as safe as possible. This week alone, I received opened mail (ripped open) of personal confidential mail -and- a few days later watched the mailman with his head down walk to my cleared steps and never come up them to deliver another piece of important mail I’m waiting for. If these workers are going to be lazy, yes LAZY, I need another option for mail delivery.

  The post office has to be one of the worst customer service companies ever!! I’ve been trying for the past 45 minutes to call the Mount Oliver Post Office all does his ring and then hangs up then I call the main number and all that does is go to an automated system which will not let me talk to a person. It’s very frustrating when you can’t talk to anybody and I even drove up there to go in to see if I had any mail and our front there was two vehicles parked out front but everything else was piled with snow so you have no place to even park to go in there to pick up your mail. Do you think that you’ve had that cleaned up because they were suggesting go to the post office to pick up your mail. This is so unprofessional So Wrong in so many ways!! At least you could do is answer the phone half the time your lobby is empty so why don’t you pick up the phone? Horrible customer service just horrible.

  I Got here at 204pm walked up to the counter for him to tell me that I need to leave because they are closed.. I’m already at the counter the door is unlocked and I can’t buy a money order? It says you close at 5. Plus I recently had a separate issue. I will be going somewhere else for now on . I don’t like how they do things here. very ignorant, you could have sold me a money order it takes 2 seconds

  So I ordered a package about two weeks ago and to make a long story short the post office claims that they delivered my package last night at 7:45pm. Went to retrieve the package and it wasn't there. Usually they put the package in my mailbox or between my screen door and door so that it is safe. There was no package. So I went to call the Mt. Oliver post office and no one answered and I let it ring for over two minutes. Why would you deliver my package after 7pm anyway? I have ordered from the same company over half a dozen times and my package was delivered all the other times in the afternoon. So why couldn't you hold my package til today to deliver it. Never had a problem with any package delivery in the 20+ years I have lived in the borough. It would be nice if people would just answer the telephone I mean I'm the customer here.
