I used a 20lb shipping label to ship a 16lb package. The fedex employee didn't asking anything. But he charged me $30 more later from Ebay. Be careful!!

My worst experience with FedEx hands down due to the manager (Gary) and staff (Marilyn) there. Considered taking my company business account elsewhere after this experience.
When I arrived, I brought a few packages into the store. I was rudely greeted by Gary who immediately tried to deny service. I didn't even get a chance to say hello. It wasn't until he learned that I was shipping with a company account that he grudgingly accepted my packages with a whole lot of attitude. Another customer came in so Marilyn took over and followed suit with the same bad attitude as Gary helped the other customer.
Leaving the store I noticed afterwards that the total cost of the two separate shipments was higher than I expected. I went back home punched in each individual package's weight and dimension on the Fedex rate calculator and noticed I was overcharged. I was told by Gary that a delayed shipment would only cost $3 extra - not $150. When I called, Marilyn answered saying that I should have known that prices would be different, transferred the call to Gary who refused to provide a breakdown of prices, started yelling, and then, just hung up. I did not feel safe or comfortable returning to the store to sort things out.
Judging from the bountiful other negative reviews here, management needs to change.
