    DHL has been the worst delivery service I’ve dealt with. First, they don’t notify you that someone must be present to sign for a package. Second, they don’t give you an idea of when they’ll be delivering. I’m not even sorry but in today’s day and age of tech, 8am-8pm is not an appropriate window for something this simple. Third, they are IMPOSSIBLE to reach for a human to speak with to figure out why your package is on hold. And finally, the hours they have listed on their website, their emails, and on Google is NOT the hours they have listed on their door. Again, in today’s age, it is ridiculous to have incorrect hours in your online presence.

    I paid for express Delivery on a Monday. They recieved my package in Pittsburgh on Friday and then put it on a Truck on Monday and then removed it because they don't have enough drivers. Nobody contacted me. I needed the shipment for my buisness to furfill my companies sole contract as the delivery was parts for a 3d printer. If I was contacted when the package was taken back off of a truck I would have driven to their building and picked it up. I will never use DHL for anything and will refuse to order anything that requires DHL service. Absolutely horrible website and customer service.

    Last week I found myself in a predicament; I had pre-ordered something mid-2025 from oversees that, with tariffs, cost over $600. Fast forward and I received an email that my package was finally out for delivery, but it required a signature and no one was home. Going over my options this package was ineligible for having the signature waived, and the nearest DHL service point was just under 25 miles away from me and would be closed by the time I could get there. I was feeling hopeless and had no idea what to do, but I received an email from a PIT Service Agent named Miranda S. informing me that my package had two attempted deliveries. We corresponded and after explaining my situation she offered to reach out to Shane, the delivery driver, to see if he would re-deliver my package as he was still out making deliveries for the day and there was now someone home at my apartment. Just a little bit later my package was re-delivered! I want to commend Miranda for solving my problem and being so helpful and a fantastic problem-solver, and Shane for going out of his way to get a stranger her package. Unfortunately I didn’t make it home in time to personally thank Shane for re-delivering my package when he certainly didn’t have to but thank you both so much for going above and beyond!
