- ALAub LeeApr 17, 20261.0We live in Pine Grove Mills, we can not get mail delivered to our house by the USPS, they simply don't do it, so we rely on our local post office to make sure our mail and packages are accessible to us. This location is only open to the public for 5 hours a day because they close from 9am-12pm. For those of us who work a full 8+ hour day, we can not get our packages for weeks at a time, including prescription medicines, holiday and birthday gifts, etc. Our mailbox is always accessible for small envelopes, however, packages are rarely accessible. I wish I could get my prescriptions sent exclusively through UPS, I have a few prescriptions along with medical equipment that can only be provided through mail and I do not have an option to pick them up from a pharmacy in-person, and this post office is not a reliable place to have prescriptions and medical equipment sent to. The worker today told me the post office is experiencing financial hardship, I'm not surprised. I've chosen many times to use the UPS store because their hours and customer service are far superior to what is provided by my local post office.

The office opens at 8:30, closes for lunch, and closes for the day at 4:30. On Saturday the hours are just 9 to 12. Getting your packages can be tough if you work during the day.

They're given limited staff and limited hours by the powers that be--but it's definitely not their fault, and I still love going there. The staff has always been unwaveringly friendly and helpful. Even though I'm retired from my business now, I plan to continue going there when I need to mail something. It's wonderful to go to a Post Office that knows your name!
