Location has been closed all day everyday for a week. Don’t even understand how that’s allowed.

I've had positive experiences over several years using this USPS location to send mail, drop off and pick up packages. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and this location seems busy whenever I visit. They do a good job of keeping USPS packaging supplies stocked, and there's a designated spot to drop off prepaid packages without having to stand in line. They offer the US Passport renewal service by reservation. The last time I visited, I noticed that they were allowing patrons to bring their small, leashed dogs inside the station, which is new and seemed to be appreciated.

It’s honestly very unfortunate that so many post offices in Philadelphia have such low customer ratings — and that’s not a coincidence. It’s a real shame that one of the most established and distinguished organizations operates with such poor customer service. No one seems to care, and everyone acts like they’re doing you a favor just by showing up. It’s unacceptable in 2025 that basic professionalism and courtesy are still missing from such an essential public service.
