  One of my main dissatisfaction was with the onboarding of W2 forms and system confirmation not being clear if it accepted my documents or not. The other was with my assigned recruiter Olivia Galow not seeming to know enough of IG's hiring processes or care enough to know that the role I filled for client assigned was not being as upfront with what the expectations were for role as a PM. I worked on marketing campaign projects but it wasn't even within a Marketing channel or affiliated business unit partnering with them but within a Data Science led team. I was not aware of who my reporting manager was until the day I started and how detached his data science team was from the marketing department until I was a week into the role. In honesty, anyone filling that role unbeknown to them, is being led to failure when their colleagues are data scientist and they have an absentee manager to report to. I learned it the hard way but at least I know now, to question more thoroughly next time.

  There isn't much, really. The placement for my current role which is sort of a dream employer is the best they've done. Working at this client is amazing. The support from the IG team are mostly great, and you can tell Emma really cares about the well-being of the contractors she support. But why it's not a ten? One important request went unanswered for over 48 hours. I'd allow 24-48 hours response, even if the response is that it is still under review or that an answer is a little hard to track down. Anything to acknowledge the issue. And coming from a world where benefits were covered by the employer, this i-have-to-pay-for-my-own-health-insurance thing has turned me into a HENRY. I can't even afford to get to work every day at this rate, much less bring my pets to the vet. This complaint could have come during the previous survey but I wasn't feeling the financial hit just yet. Now, even though I have no discretionary budget, I still see my savings dwindling. I'd still recommend IG to anyone in need of work. But I'd be sure to tell them, in case they're used to covered benefits, that none are covered ilegen if they are offered. I would also want the distinction to be a little bit more transparent with contractors and candidates.
