The support from the IG team are mostly great, and you can tell Emma really cares about the well-being of the contractors she support. But why it's not a ten? One important request went unanswered for over 48 hours. I'd allow 24-48 hours response, even if the response is that it is still under review or that an answer is a little hard to track down. Anything to acknowledge the issue. And coming from a world where benefits were covered by the employer, this i-have-to-pay-for-my-own-health-insurance thing has turned me into a HENRY. I can't even afford to get to work every day at this rate, much less bring my pets to the vet. This complaint could have come during the previous survey but I wasn't feeling the financial hit just yet. Now, even though I have no discretionary budget, I still see my savings dwindling. I'd still recommend IG to anyone in need of work. But I'd be sure to tell them, in case they're used to covered benefits, that none are covered ilegen if they are offered. I would also want the distinction to be a little bit more transparent with contractors and candidates.
