- SPScott P.Oct 2, 20191.0Worst customer service I have ever experienced! A little background. We live just over the line in a different zip code, but this office is less than a mile from our house and very convenient. As a result the labels on the packages we ship shows our home zipcode. This apparently does not sit well with the workers at this office because they claim that they don't get credit for these shipments. Rather, they claim, the office located in our home zipcode does. Everytime we bring packages in, they tell us that we could just call for a pick up instead. Of course that means that our home zipcode post office would then make the pickup. They also don't seem to mention this to anyone else that is dropping off packages. They then try to tell us that there is some complicated way that we can go in and change the shipping post office to reflect their zipcode instead. Guess that it would then be ok to drop packages off at their office. All of this would not be bad if it happened once as a way of letting us know our options, but when the same individual says it everytime we drop off packages (2 to 3 times a week), it gets rather annoying . I have always thought that the post office was a part of the Federal government and therefore served the people of the entire nation, not just a single zipcode. Guess that I was wrong. As a note, the single star is only because the system wouldn't let me give zero.
